Gerard is the Editor of The International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation http://www.ippublishing.com/ei.htm
which he launched in 2000. He sits on numerous Editorial Boards in the area of Entrepreneurship and has been key note speaker at a number of conferences.
His research interests are in Rural Entrepreneurship and Farmers Entrepreneurial Skills.
He is particularly interested in Illegal entrepreneurship.
He has published extensively in the area of Entrepreneurship. Gerard is an external examiner at two universities.
Gerard has taught extensively in Zambia, UAE, Oman, India and in Europe
