About
Research
My research project about how individual women decide what and what not to wear throughout the course of their lives. My research is focused on how women see and describe their own clothes – and how this very often differs, not only from the way that those in the ‘fashionable know’ might describe them, but from the way they are described by even their closest family and friends. The research also looks at how and why women’s personal ideas and beliefs about themselves and their lives affect the clothing choices they make on a day to day basis.
